Can you help us to keep supporting our young members?

We always need volunteers to come and help during our Open Day and Activity Weekends for our young members so if you’d like to come and help, get in touch with Youth Leader Lexie, lexie@lhm.org.uk.

Our Open Day involves facilitating workshop sessions for our young members as well as making sure that they are getting involved, making friends, and enjoying themselves. Our Activity Weekends are normally held at PGL centres around the UK and involve supporting the young members to take part in the activities – a lot of the time you get to do the activities too!

You will receive safeguarding training, as well as a briefing around the unique difficulties our young members face and how you need to adapt what you do to meet their needs. You will also get your travel expenses reimbursed.

Previous experience of working with children and young people is desirable, but not necessary.
